Dayton Mercy Society
About · Faith in action

A masjid, by the grace of Allah.

Serving the Greater Dayton area since 2007.

Our story

Dayton Mercy Society is a masjid in Miamisburg, Ohio. We pray the five daily salah, hold two Jumu'ahs, teach our children, and look after one another, alhamdulillah.

We've been here since 2007. Families of every background, lifelong Muslims, new Muslims, visitors, neighbors, have a place here. If you'd like to come for a prayer or stop in to say salaam, the door is open.

What we do

The whole picture.

Salah

Five daily salah and two Jum'ahs every Friday.

Education

CAP program for kids, Qur'an classes three days a week, weekly halaqah for adults.

Community

Friday evening potlucks, recognition nights, retreats, volunteer days.

Services

Nikah, janazah, and counseling referrals, in confidence.

Outreach

Open houses, interfaith dialogue, visitor welcome.

Youth

Student-led DMS Youth Programs each month: brotherhood, sisterhood, and joint.

What you'll find here

A glimpse of DMS.

Kids in our CAP program learning the lives of the prophets. The youth program every Sunday. Brotherhood bonfires. Itikaf together through the last ten of Ramadan. The Jumu'ah khutbah every Friday and the weekly halaqah for adults. Volunteer days when we pack food bags for neighbors who need them. New Muslims asking their first questions over chai. Families from every background, all in one room.

We keep showing up together since 2007.

Come visit.

The best way to get a feel for DMS is to come for Jumu'ah or drop in for any daily prayer.
